What is Sports Therapy?

My name is Vic and I am the founder of Move Retford.

I believe that everyone deserves to live an active and pain-free life. As a Masters Graduate of Sports Therapy (UOL) and  Registered member of The Sports Therapy Association, I am well equipped to support you in achieving this.

 

 My goal is to help you return to your sport and/or your normal daily activities as safely and timely as possible. 

 

Is Sports Therapy only useful if you are injured?

Sports Therapy is not just for the injured, it's principals and strategies can also be used to prevent injury and optimise your performance.

  Is Sports Therapy only for 'Sporty' people?

Musculoskeletal injuries occur in many people not just athletes. Sports Therapy could help you regardless of your age or activity level.

Yoga classes

I run weekly Hatha, Vinyasa and pregnancy Yoga classes from The Zen Den, Retford Town Centre. My classes focus on building strength whilst improving flexibility, mobility and balance. Classes are inclusive and suitable for all abilities.
